Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop custom machine vision and GUI applications. The ideal candidate should have a degree in engineering and relevant experience in C#, WPF, and industrial automation protocols. This position offers a salary range of $4,000 - $6,300 per month, with working hours from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in vision and developing Windows applications for industrial automation.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, RS-232, and Camera interface protocols.
• Knowledge in industrial protocols like MODBUS and SECS/GEM is an advantage.

Senior Software Engineer(Automation Vision and Gui Development)

Location: Woodlands Ave (Nearest mrt: Admiralty)
Salary Range: $4,000 - $6,300
Working Hours : 8:30am – 5:30pm (Mon-Fri)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom machine vision and GUI applications.
• Design machine vision algorithms for product quality inspection, process control, and manufacturing automation.
• Knowledge in deep learning-based vision solutions.
• Make decisions in ordering, building, and maintaining PCs and PC based GUI software.
• Configure vision systems (host PC, frame grabbers, cameras, illumination, motion control, interfaces, etc.).
• Analyze project requirements Design, develop and test the multitasking Windows desktop applications for industrial equipment.
• Understand and interface with third party embedded controllers using their APIs
• Optimize existing software to improve the performance and fix bugs.
• Provide technical support for the field.

Requirements

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer engineering /electronics engineering or equivalent
• Min 3 to 5 year experience in vision and developing windows applications for industrial / automation equipment using C#, WPF and .NET Framework. Able to develop rich and modern user interface.
• Experienced and good understanding on TCP/IP, RS-232, Camera interface and any of motion controller interface protocols.
• Knowledge in MODBUS, SECS/GEM and other industrial protocols is added advantage.
• Good in process mapping and software design concepts
