About the team

The Strategy & Operations team at Airwallex plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s overall growth and efficiency. We are a collaborative group of analysts, strategists, and operational experts passionate about translating vision into action. We leverage data insights, sharp problem‑solving skills, and a deep understanding of the business to optimize processes, identify growth opportunities, and ensure Airwallex operates efficiently and effectively at scale.

What you’ll do

Reporting to the Head of Revenue Strategy & Operations, you will support the development of and drive the implementation of global revenue growth and go‑to‑market initiatives, as well as long‑range strategic plans for our SME and Enterprise business units across both FinOS & Airwallex for Platform propositions.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze Commercial Performance – Lead deep‑diving analysis of revenue, customer, and sales performance data to uncover trends, diagnose issues, and generate strategic insights for leadership decision‑making.
  • Drive Strategic Growth Initiatives – Identify, design, and operationalize high‑impact “big bets” to accelerate revenue growth and increase transacting customers across key segments and markets.
  • Design Commercial Incentives – Develop and continuously refine best‑in‑class sales incentive structures to drive desired commercial behaviors and maximize ROI on sales investments.
  • AI‑Driven Commercial Transformation – Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to define and implement AI use cases that improve sales productivity, lead conversion, and decision intelligence.
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership – Serve as a strategic thought partner to Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance to align on goals, share insights, and ensure end‑to‑end execution of revenue strategy.
  • Strategic Planning & Forecasting – Support annual and quarterly planning processes by providing analytical rigor, scenario modeling, and insight‑backed recommendations.
  • Performance Monitoring – Develop dashboards and frameworks to track progress of key strategic initiatives and continuously optimise for impact.
Who you are

We’re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimally 2 years of experience and proven track‑record of success in revenue strategy, pricing, or related roles within the Fintech industry.
  • Significant experience in management consulting, ideally from a globally recognized firm.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling, data analysis, and market research.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities, focusing on driving business results.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience working in a global or multi‑regional environment is preferred.
