Job summary

A leading healthcare solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to ensure adherence to protocols and engage with patients throughout their clinical journey. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences or be a Registered Nurse with relevant experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. This role involves coordinating clinical research activities and preparing detailed reports.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Research & Data Coordination
  • Ensure all activities follow Good Clinical Practice (GCP), the Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA), and MOH guidelines.
  • Understand and follow the protocols for the department’s clinical registry.
  • Prepare and submit ethics applications (DSRB) and update documents when needed.
  • Review inclusion/exclusion criteria with the registry custodian.
  • Collect accurate clinical outcome data and ensure information entered into the database matches the source documents.
  • Organise and maintain all registry files, including DSRB correspondence and patient logs.
Patient Interaction & Follow-Up
  • Explain study objectives to patients and obtain informed consent.
  • Track patients’ post-operative reviews, outcomes, and follow-up appointments, ensuring timelines are met.
  • Support doctors by preparing data for research, audits, and clinical studies.
Reporting & Collaboration
  • Prepare monthly reports and clinical indicators for the registry custodian and reporting officer.
  • Work with various healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Other Responsibilities
  • Attend ward rounds, lectures, seminars, or courses when required.
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned by the department’s senior management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences OR Registered Nurse with relevant clinical background.
  • Experience in patient care or clinical settings is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to multitask, work independently, and maintain high accuracy in documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
