Senior Analyst (Python / VBA/Workflow Automation) - Direct Contract (ID: 682548)
This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, business stakeholders, and IT personnel, to support non-direct patient care and enhance the delivery of healthcare services.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify, design, and implement process improvements such as automating manual workflows, optimizing data delivery, and redesigning infrastructure to enhance efficiency.
- Developing user-friendly applications for departmental projects.
- Deploying machine learning models via interactive user interfaces.
- Reviewing and recommending enhancements to existing tools and automation scripts.
- Complete assigned project tasks within established timelines and quality standards.
- Assist in the development of internal tools and applications to streamline data extraction, management, and reporting for the data management team.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and apply them to improve data solutions.
- Perform data de-identification and encryption in accordance with departmental data management guidelines.
- Support data management and data science teams in re-identifying records for verification or analytical purposes, as required.
- Provide timely feedback to supervisors to pre-empt and resolve work-related issues.
Job Requirements
- A recognized Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (e.g., Streamlit, Flask, Django), R (e.g., Shiny), and SQL.
- Familiarity with tools such as SharePoint, Excel (including Visual Basic), HTML, XML, and Java is preferred.
- Must have working experience in automation work, not focusing mainly on data visualization/extraction. Need Python and VBA skills.
- Experience in managing AI/ML applications will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of data anonymization, de-identification, and re-identification processes and techniques is desirable.
