A leading hospital in Singapore is seeking an Analytics Officer to monitor performance standards and provide analytical support to clinical teams. Ideal candidates should hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields and possess at least 2 years of experience in analytics. Proficiency in data wrangling tools such as Python or R and visualization tools like Tableau, along with strong communication skills, are essential. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Monitor key performances for hospital standards including regulatory indicators.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of healthcare performance indicators, data and reports.
  • Identify any areas for improvement and work with Heads of Departments (HODs) and Quality teams to follow through with plans to address identified gaps.
  • Provide analysis and analytics support to Clinical Teams for daily operations – including maintaining current and building new dashboards, and prediction or simulation models.
  • Streamlining processes by automating data processing, enhancing data usability and visualisation to harness data for performance management and Management decision making.
  • Organise Analytics Community activities with the team.
Requirements
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree related to Business Analysis, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or Public Health
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in analytics or healthcare related activities. Those with more years of relevant experience will be considered for Senior
  • Candidates with relevant technical skills are also welcome to apply
  • Experience in coding language for data wrangling and building of machine learning models is required – Python or R preferred
  • Experience in visualisation tool is required – Tableau preferred
  • Meticulous and good analytical mindset
  • Good team player with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Clinical knowledge is an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
