We have an opportunity for a Air Freight Executive to join our organization as part of our business expansion in Singapore of a rapidly expanding company.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage end-to-end (A–Z) airfreight import and export operations for global shipments, ensuring service excellence and compliance with SOPs.
• Support business growth by working closely with Airfreight Manager S.E. Asia, sales teams, overseas offices, partners, and agents to develop existing and new accounts.
• Source, negotiate, and manage competitive airfreight rates for ad hoc, contract, tenders, bids, and RFQs, coordinating with regional management where required.
• Maintain and strengthen commercial relationships with airlines, co-loaders, and key partners, keeping abreast of market and capacity changes.
• Ensure cost control and departmental profitability in line with company targets and commercial guidelines.
• Implement and update customer-specific and internal SOPs to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
• Demonstrate a results-driven and proactive approach, contributing commercially while delivering a consistently high standard of customer service.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 4-6 years’ experience in airfreight operations (import & export).
• Good knowledge of airfreight documentation, airline procedures, handling of DG shipments and Incoterms.
• Strong customer service orientation with good interpersonal skills to manage clients, agents, and partners effectively.
• Able to manage multiple shipments under tight timelines and work well under pressure.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
