The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all security operations at the Principal’s private residence, ensuring the safety and privacy of the Principal, family members, guests, staff, and property. The role includes supervising security personnel, managing access control, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to incidents in a professional and discreet manner.
This position requires a high level of integrity, confidentiality, situational awareness, and service mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Operations & Monitoring
- Oversee day-to-day security activities within the residence and surrounding grounds.
- Manage CCTV, alarm, and access-control systems; ensure equipment is functioning and maintained.
- Conduct routine security patrols and risk assessments.
- Implement and continuously improve residential security protocols and emergency procedures.
- Personnel Supervision & Training
- Lead and schedule security guards and supporting staff.
- Provide training on security procedures, etiquette, confidentiality, and emergency response.
- Monitor performance and ensure high professional standards and discipline.
- Access Control & Visitor Management
- Ensure secure and discreet handling of visitors, vendors, contractors, and deliveries.
- Verify identities, manage entry logs, and coordinate with household or administrative staff.
- Support VIP guest movements and privacy arrangements as needed.
- Incident Response & Reporting
- Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and unusual activities.
- Prepare incident reports and elevate matters appropriately.
- Coordinate with local authorities or emergency services when required.
- Risk Prevention & Safety
- Identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend preventive measures.
- Oversee perimeter safety, lighting, and surveillance coverage.
- Support travel-related security or event security when required.
- Confidentiality & Professional Conduct
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the Principal’s personal and household matters.
- Demonstrate respectful communication, discretion, and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or private protection.
- Prior experience in private household, hospitality, embassy, luxury estate, or VIP security preferred.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with CCTV, alarm, and surveillance systems.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in emergencies.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and reliability.
- Able to perform patrol and response duties.
- Valid security certification or license (where required).
