Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Assists in protection of guests, their personal property, and the hotel premises.
  • Assumes full responsibilities of security duties for each shift.
  • Supervises staff in their duties and disciplines.
  • Monitors the progress of staff performance.
  • Counsel staff.
  • Assists in the training of all new and existing Security Officers.
  • Assists the Director of Security & Risk Management in staff evaluations.
  • Maintains good relationships with guests and colleagues.
  • Be aware of important events in the hotel and brief subordinates.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Reporting to the Security Manager, your job responsibilities include, but not limited to:-

Responsibilities
  • Assists in protection of guest,their personal property and the hotel premises.
  • Assumes full responsibilities of security duties for each shift.
  • Supervise staff in their duties and discipline.
  • Monitors the progress of staff performance.
  • Counsel staff.
  • Assists in the training of all new and existing Security Officers.
  • Assists the Director of Security & Risk Management or his/her designate pertaining to the staff job progress for their evaluations.
  • Maintains good relationship with organizers, outside contractors, house guests, guests patronizing outlets, and colleagues.
  • Be fully aware of all important events and developments in the hotel and brief the subordinates prior to each shift.
  • Performs any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the management.
Requirements
  • Minimum GCE 'O' level with minimum 1 year of hotel experience in similar capacity.

  • Possession of relevant security license.
