About The Role

We are looking for a seasoned and strategic Section Head to lead our Operations Risk & Technology Risk Management function at RHB Singapore Branch. This role is pivotal in ensuring robust risk governance across operational, outsourcing, business continuity, and technology domains. You will play a key role in aligning local practices with Group Risk Management frameworks while ensuring compliance with MAS and BNM regulations. This is a leadership position that requires a proactive mindset, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to drive risk-based process optimization.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Provide strategic support to the Head of Risk Management, Singapore, in managing operational and technology risks through process optimization and technology enablement
  • Implement Group Risk Management policies and tailor risk frameworks to suit the Singapore regulatory landscape
  • Ensure full compliance with MAS and BNM regulations across operational risk, outsourcing, business continuity, and technology risk domains
  • Lead and supervise the team in policy development, governance reviews, and regulatory reporting
  • Monitor internal and external changes to identify risk gaps and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and escalation of material events to Group Operational Risk Management
  • Guide Business Risk Control Officers (BRCOs) in maintaining effective internal controls and incident management
  • Drive the governance and implementation of outsourcing frameworks and liaise with Head Office on policy alignment
  • Ensure business continuity readiness and act as Regional BCM Commander or Alternate Crisis Management Commander when required
  • Provide independent assessments of technology and cyber risk controls, and partner with IT to close identified gaps
  • Observe and support disaster recovery and cyber incident response exercises
  • Foster a culture of compliance and collaboration across departments
  • Mentor and develop team members to ensure high performance and professional growth
