Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma holders in Math, Science, Engineering, or relevant fields preferred.
• Teaching/tutoring experience preferred, especially with Upper Secondary levels.

📍Location: TutorJohn Learning Centre – Choa Chu Kang / Tampines

💼Position: Full-Time Secondary Tutor (O-Level Math / Science)

💰Salary: $3,200 – $4,800/month (Based on Experience + Performance Bonuses)

🗓Work Days: 4 Weekdays + 1 Weekend

🕒Hours:
✅ Weekdays: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM / 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
✅ Weekends: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Your Key Responsibilities

• ✅ Teach Secondary Math / Science Lessons – Conduct up to 3 classes/day (Sec 1–4/5), deliver structured, engaging, and exam-focused lessons aligned with MOE syllabus, provide clear explanations and step-by-step problem-solving guidance
• ✅ Prepare Students for O-Level Success – Identify learning gaps and tailor strategies to close them, conduct mock exams, timed practices, and revision workshops, track student progress and provide feedback to parents
• ✅ Curriculum Development & Enhancement – Refine worksheets, notes, and lesson materials for clarity and effectiveness, offer insights to improve Secondary and O-Level curriculum
• ✅ Centre Operations & Admin Support – Assist with scheduling, attendance, and day-to-day centre duties, maintain a conducive, organised classroom environment

Who We’re Looking For

• ✔ Degree/Diploma holders (Math, Science, Engineering, or relevant fields preferred)
• ✔ Strong mastery of O-Level Math and/or Science (Physics/Chemistry)
• ✔ Teaching/tutoring experience preferred, especially with Upper Secondary levels
• ✔ Thorough understanding of MOE syllabus and O-Level exam requirements
• ✔ Passionate about education and helping students succeed academically
• ✔ Excellent communication, classroom management, and rapport-building skills
• ✔ Able to commit until the end of the academic year
