Job summary

A leading tech firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Application Developer to design and build applications that meet business needs. The role requires expert proficiency in SAP ABAP Development and familiarity with SAP Fiori to enhance application functionality. Responsibilities include engaging with multiple teams and providing technical guidance. Ideal candidates will have strong understanding of S/4HANA and hands-on experience with UI5 and OData.

Qualifications

• Expert proficiency in SAP ABAP Development is required.
• Expert level of proficiency in SAP Fiori is recommended.
• Sufficient experience in UI5, HRABAP, CDS, and Odata is mandatory.

Job description

As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. Responsible for team decisions. Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

Expert proficiency in SAP ABAP Development is required. Expert level of proficiency in SAP Fiori is recommended. Develop innovative solutions using SAP ABAP Development to enhance application functionality. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate SAP Fiori for improved user experience. Conduct regular code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in SAP development to drive continuous improvement.

Core ABAP (HR ABAP is advantage)

Skills

• Strong ABAP (OO-ABAP, ALV, performance tuning, debugging)
• File‑based interface development (Open Dataset, FTP/SFTP, error handling)
• OData service creation (CRUDQ operations, SAP Gateway, Fiori integration)
• Reports & enhancements (ALV, User Exits, BADIs, enhancements)

HR Domain Knowledge

• HR master data, payroll, and time management structures
• HR authorizations and security concepts

Mandatory Requirements

• Candidate must possess sufficient experience in UI5, HRABAP, CDS and Odata
• Need to have required depth in UI5 and has exposure to enhancing standard Fiori apps
• Need to have strong understanding of S/4HANA concepts, HANA performance tuning, CDS/OData, and HR Technical knowledge
