Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, well-groomed, and customer-oriented Salon Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing front-desk operations, and supporting the smooth running of the salon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and professionally upon arrival.

  • Handle all inquiries promptly and courteously, including responding to and following up on WhatsApp inquiries.

  • Manage appointment bookings and maintain an accurate scheduling system.

  • Ensure the reception area is tidy, presentable, and stocked with necessary materials (e.g., brochures, forms, etc).

  • Understand and assist in promoting salon services, promotions, and packages to walk-in clients.

  • Handle point-of-sale operations, including processing payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining customer records.

  • Maintain an accurate client database and update profiles, treatment records, and usage history in the system.

  • Support the team in daily operations, including stock updates, customer reminders, and administrative tasks.

  • Manage the customer check-in/check-out process efficiently.

  • Provide excellent service and professionally resolve any client issues or concerns.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a receptionist or customer service role (preferably in the beauty, spa, or salon industry).

  • Strong verbal communication skills, with fluency in English.

  • Good interpersonal skills and a customer-friendly attitude.

  • Well-presented, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and appointment booking software.

  • Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.

  • Positive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
