Overview

We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Sales Representative to spearhead our business growth in Southeast Asia. As our first local sales hire in the region, you will take a leading role in building distributor relationships, expanding sales channels, and driving brand visibility.

In this highly impactful role, you will not only execute sales strategies but also help shape our market presence and long-term growth path in Southeast Asia. Your insights and initiative will directly influence how we engage with partners and customers in the region.

To set you up for success, you will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support from our Japan-based team, while enjoying the autonomy to take ownership of the local market strategy.

This position requires business travel across the region for market development activities and participation in key industry events.

Responsibilities
  • Lead sales activities to achieve company targets, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Maintain strong relationships with distributors, introducing new products and expanding their SKU range.
  • Develop and implement in-store expansion plans, branding initiatives, and display optimization.
  • Research and reach out to potential clients to develop new sales channels.
  • Conduct meetings, training sessions, and attend industry events.
  • Identify prospects, manage the sales cycle, and close new business deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient inventory management and order fulfillment.
  • Prepare reports, proposals, and other documentation to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team in Japan HQ and report regularly.
  • On-site activities to arrange in-store displays.
Required Skills
