Overview

This is a request for application for a full-time sales rep role with 9 Solar HomePte Ltd. We are a market disruptor in the green energy sector and we accelerate Singapore’s transition to renewable energy through installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for landed homes in Singapore. The business is accelerating quickly and thus, we are looking for a full-time solar sales rep to help us grow and expand. Please read through the qualifications before submitting an application.

Responsibilities
  • Bring in signed Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
  • Present and speak with clients on a day-to-day basis and follow up with all leads proactively.
  • Thrive on word of mouth; focus on customer lifetime value and referral generation as well as closing the immediate deal.
  • Support other team members and work respectfully with relevant internal and external partners.
  • Engage in field activities such as doorknocking to generate leads (target: at least 5 landed homes per day).
  • Track KPIs, measure results, and learn how our models and systems work quickly to drive more sales.
  • Thrive in a fluid startup environment where processes are built daily and contribute to a long-term mission.
Qualifications
  • An experienced salesperson with a track record of growing sales numbers.
  • Coachable individual with a passion for sustainability and who enjoys being out in the field and interacting with potential new clients daily.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A foundational team player who is willing to support other members in the team and work respectfully with relevant internal and external partners.
  • Analytical and great at measuring results, tracking KPIs and eager to learn how our models and systems work quickly to drive more sales.
  • Extremely compassionate, flexible, and driven by contributing to a long-term mission.
  • You must be comfortable presenting and speaking with clients on a day-to-day basis and following up with all leads proactively.

Compensation: This is a commission-based role with a guaranteed base salary during the one-month ramp-up and training period. Thereafter, earnings are commission-only with uncapped potential and can average $50,000-$100,000+ annually. Monthly performance bonuses will be given for hitting sales targets. Transport allowance provided. Training and on-the-job shadowing will be conducted before the sales rep dives into the role independently. You will receive ample training and guidance to help you succeed in your role.
