Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Publishing Manager and/or Senior Editor to generate sales materials.
- Develop and maintain good business relationships with pre-schools, primary, secondary schools, libraries, learning centers, churches etc.
- Responsible for developing and establishing relationships with Heads of Departments of schools for adoption of our products/books in the schools’ curriculum.
- Responsible for reaching out to churches for book table sales and other business opportunities.
- Develop and nurture relationships with distributors.
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across online and offline platforms including but not limited to social media, e-commerce platforms, etc.
- Responsible for planning the sales budgets and forecasts.
- Responsible for implementing sales strategy for Armour’s titles and creating go-to market initiatives.
- Analyse sales data/effectiveness of Sales & Marketing campaigns.
- Conduct annual reviews of key accounts’ business and make recommendations to drive sales.
- Monitor market trends in Children, Education, General and Christian genres.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.
- Responsible for meeting sales target set by the Management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3 – 5 years of relevant working experience with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of the book publishing trade and its product development life cycles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders of all levels.
- Driven and results-oriented.
- Passionate about education and books.
- Fluent and eloquent to converse in English and Mandarin.
- Reads and writes well in English.
- Proficient in WordPress website management, WooCommerce, payment gateways, social media platforms such Instagram, Facebook, X, etc.
