A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking a Sales and Marketing Assistant Manager/Executive to drive sales growth and account management. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, achieving annual sales targets, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. As a Sales and Marketing (Assistant Manager / Executive), you will be responsible for driving sales growth through demand creation activities and ensuring effective account management of existing customers.
Proactively identify, approach, and develop new customer accounts within the Southeast Asia region.
Generate leads and engage new prospects through personal networks, referrals, and cold calling.
Drive mid- to long-term business growth by developing and executing strategic plans.
Take ownership of customer leads, manage inquiries, and follow through to successful project implementation.
Plan and implement sales promotional activities such as campaigns, technical seminars, and marketing events.
Share key strategies, policies, and business information with distribution partners to support business development efforts.
Proactively drive demand creation by identifying new project opportunities within existing accounts and ensuring stable, organic sales growth.
Achieve annual sales targets and contribute to overall business performance.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers by providing consistent and timely support.
Introduce and promote new product lines to expand sales within the existing customer base.
Ensure timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries, including delivery schedules and general support.
Collaborate closely with the customer service team to ensure timely and accurate shipment arrangements.
Communicate product-related business updates and provide clear strategic guidance to customers and distribution partners.
Oversee and coordinate Product Change Notifications (PCNs) and End-of-Life (EOL) announcements, ensuring timely acceptance and approvals from all relevant parties.
Proficiency in English and Japanese to effectively communicate with Japanese-speaking clients
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and SAP.
Proven sales track record in electronic component sales.
Proactive, initiative-driven attitude.
Strong technical product knowledge.
Willingness to travel as required.
