The company offers a variety of products including seasonings, frozen foods, processed foods, beverages, sweeteners and amino acids for the consumer market as well as the catering and food processing industries. Apart from its marketing and sales activities locally, the company also performs vital functions to support the Group’s global operations, such as the procurement of flexible packaging materials, chemicals and raw materials, the provision of logistic solutions, and developing new businesses in the region.

Job Description
  • Responsible for managing assigned supermarket accounts and driving sales growth
  • Develop and implement local go-to-market, sales, and customer strategies for assigned Modern Trade customers to achieve business goals
  • Drive Joint Business Planning with customers, including development of annual plans and quarterly business reviews
  • Manage product ordering activities, including coordination with overseas affiliates and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate supply
  • Work closely with affiliates on order planning, order placement, and delivery coordination, in line with sales forecasts and promotional plans
  • Monitor inventory levels and sales trends
  • Support demand planning with Modern Trade promotions, new product launches, and seasonal activities
  • Manage negotiations, including trading terms and conditions, to support sales agreements and promotional plans
  • Conduct regular business reviews and prepare reports on achievements, performance gaps, and improvement actions for discussion with the Head of Department
  • Manage and monitor 5P execution performance and ensure issues are resolved promptly through coordination with internal teams
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on new product listings and BTL activities
  • Develop, monitor, and recommend improvement initiatives related to business processes, customer service, and execution practices
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the company
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business management or a related discipline preferred
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in FMCG Modern Trade / Supermarket channel
  • Strong selling skills with proven key account management experience, including direct engagement with supermarket buyers, in the FMCG environment
  • Understanding of supplier and customer relationship management, including supply chain coordination, field marketing, and branding strategy
  • Strong interest in food, food culture, and food-related businesses, including Japanese food products
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and strong team player mindset
  • Results-oriented, proactive, and able to respond quickly to business challenges
  • Strong logical and analytical thinking skills
Compensation
  • Working location: Central (2 to 3 minutes walk from MRT Station)
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
  • Variable bonus
