About the Company

Our client is a Singapore-based interior design and renovation studio delivering end-to-end residential projects - from concept development to execution.
The company focuses on personalised interiors, strong client experience, and close collaboration between sales, design, and operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery and long-term client satisfaction.

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Sales Lead / Sales Manager to drive client consultations and close residential renovation projects. This is a sales-first role with the opportunity to take on coaching / team-lead responsibilities as the team grows. You will work closely with the Director and design/operations teams to ensure accurate scoping, pricing, and smooth onboarding.

Key Responsibilities
Client Consultations & Deal Closing
  • Handle the full sales cycle: lead qualification, consultations, quotation review, and closing

  • Understand client requirements, budgets, design preferences, and timelines

  • Build trust with clients and maintain a high standard of client experience

  • Support improvements to consultation flow, scripts, and follow-up approach (in line with the Director’s direction)

Quotation, Pricing & Upselling
  • Prepare and/or review quotations to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • Understand renovation cost components (materials, carpentry, electrical/plumbing, etc.) and apply them to pricing

  • Ensure pricing aligns with internal margin guidelines

  • Support package structuring and upselling to increase project value while maintaining healthy margins

Pipeline Management & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate CRM updates and disciplined pipeline tracking

  • Provide weekly updates on pipeline status and expected closures

  • Ensure clean handovers to design/operations with complete project information

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Work closely with designers to confirm scope feasibility and client expectations

  • Coordinate with suppliers/contractors when needed to validate pricing or technical inputs

  • Share client insights with marketing to improve lead quality and conversion

Team Support (depending on experience)
  • Mentor junior sales consultants / design consultants on consultations, follow-ups, and quotation basics

  • Support onboarding and training on sales process and product knowledge

  • Maintain consistent sales standards and client communication quality

Requirements
  • 3–7 years of sales / client-facing experience; interior design, renovation, property, or related industries strongly preferred

  • Proven ability to close mid- to high-value deals

  • Comfortable with quotations, pricing, and numbers; strong attention to detail

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client management skills

  • Organised and able to manage multiple leads simultaneously

  • Experience using CRM tools and standard productivity software

  • Coaching/mentoring experience is a plus (formal “people management” not required)

Nice to Have
  • Background as a senior sales consultant or hands-on team lead in renovation / interior design

  • Understanding of renovation materials, costing, and basic technical concepts

  • Ability to read basic floor plans (trainable)

  • Mandarin / Chinese language skills are a strong advantage due to the client base
