A leading food company in Singapore is seeking a Sales Executive to manage key accounts, drive revenue, and develop new business opportunities. The ideal candidate should have a Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, or related fields, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience in commodity sales. Responsibilities include market analysis, implementing sales strategies, and maintaining customer relationships. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible to handling and expanding the company’s key accounts. You will manage customer relations and provide pragmatic solutions to drive revenue within the accounts under your care.
Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the industry, including prospecting, pitching, and closing deals
Market Analysis: Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making
Sales and Marketing: Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets
Negotiate contracts and agreements: Work with suppliers, vendors, and customers to secure favourable sales, pricing, and delivery terms
Build and maintain relationships: Establish and foster strategic partnership with key industry players, business partners, clients and vendors
Financial Management: Manage commercial budgets, forecasts, and performance, ensuring profitability
Operations: Collaborate with other departments, such as Production & Logistics, to ensure smooth execution of commercial plans
Analytical & Problem-Solving: Able to examine data, identify patterns, draw conclusions, and implement effective course of action
Communication and Collaboration: Possess the interpersonal skills to communicate ideas, collaborate with others, and thrive in a team environment
Outcome-driven: Attention to desired goals, such as improved customer satisfaction, increased sales, or enhanced operational efficiency
Degree/Diploma in Business, Marketing, Commerce or related field
2 years related experience in commodity sales and/or trading
