Overview

You will be responsible for coordinating and executing a targeted plan to develop and expand sales in the territory in order to meet regional goals and objectives. This will involve conducting customer visits, cold calls, and providing sales reports to management, along with quarterly and annual forecasts. You will also identify new sales opportunities and business prospects, as well as understand customer requirements related to hot runners and controllers to generate RFQs and share with the internal team.

Milacron, a global leader in the manufacture, distribution, and service of highly engineered systems within the plastic technology and processing industry, is seeking a Hot Runner Specialist for the Pune location. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager in the West Region, the ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in sales or techno-commercial roles, along with a degree in B.Tech/BE/Diploma in CIPET/NTTF/CTTC/DTDM.

The position requires the candidate to be based in the Pune location and possess good technical knowledge about plastic molds, injection molding, and hot runners.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sales growth in the region.
  • Provide training and awareness about products to customers.
  • Offer design and technical follow-up and assistance both internally and externally.
  • Adhere to all procedures and policies communicated by management.
  • Develop and execute plans to expand sales, conduct customer visits, identify new opportunities, and represent the company during exhibitions and trade shows.
  • Prepare and share quarterly and annual forecasts and sales reports with management.
  • Understand customer requirements related to hot runners and controllers to generate RFQs and share with the internal team.

  • Effective communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
