Job summary

A manufacturing company in Singapore is looking for a candidate to join their sales support team. Responsibilities include managing customer communications, preparing quotations, and handling E-commerce orders. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, possess excellent communication and mechanical skills, and hold a Class 3 driving license. This role requires engagement with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is necessary.
  • Class 3 driving license is required.
  • Singaporean or candidate with full working rights in Singapore only.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers/distributors on solution needs and after-sales.
  • Prepare and provide quotations, follow up on sales, and create sales presentations.
  • Generate and review sales quotations, process orders, and manage shipping.
  • Prepare documents and reports for sales operations as required.
  • Manage the E-commerce online purchasing platform.
  • Engage with customers, suppliers, and internal teams effectively.
  • Provide admin support including data entry and document retrieval.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • The person is responsible for communicating with the customers/distributors on their solution needs and after-sales needs.

  • The job will require preparing and providing the quotation, sales follow, sales forecast, and sales presentation.

  • Generate and review sales quotations, order processing, shipping, and invoicing.

  • Review customer sales orders, proposals, purchase orders, and related information.

  • Preparation of documents for sales operations, customer-related reports to management, sales and customers as required.

  • Generate price list for sales team, based on information from principals. Monitor & update sales team with relevant information from principals.

  • Manage the E-commerce online purchasing platform. Monitor and process orders, send the information to the warehousing personnel and arrange for transportation directly to the customers.

  • Effectively engage with external customers, suppliers, financiers and internal colleagues including shipping, finance, technical, service, sales and marketing, as required.

  • Provide admin support where necessary. e.g. filing, data entry, retrieval of documents, or any other duties assigned.

Requirements
  • minimum 3 years above of relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Able to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.

  • Mechanical knowledge and background. Able to read and interpret technical drawings.

  • Class 3 driving license

  • Singaporean or candidate with full working rights in Singapore only.

  • Preferably have customer based in commercial or industrial area.
