Job summary

A foreign multinational corporation in Singapore is looking for a Sales Coordinator specializing in Systems & Components to manage customer inquiries, process orders, and coordinate logistics. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or equivalent, two years of relevant experience, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Job Summary
  • Job Title: Sales Coordinator (Systems & Components)

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage inquiries received via email, phone, or fax and keep customers informed regarding product availability, delivery dates, and locations.

  • Accurately process and input orders into the company system, monitor their status, and handle documentation.

  • Coordinate with the warehouse and supply chain executives to manage special requests for non-stock items and notify customers upon availability.

  • Independently handle shipping/customs invoices and liaise with shipping agents and forwarders.

  • Coordinate inbound traffic and track consignments for cost-effectiveness.

  • Manage delivery documents, file correspondence, and negotiate Letters of Credit (LC) with banks.

  • Negotiate rates with appointed forwarders in alignment with company buying policies.

  • Work with the Technical Department on product queries.

  • Liaise with Accounts regarding payments, deposits, refunds, and returns.

  • Coordinate with Supply Chain on Purchase Requests/Orders (PR/PO) and delivery dates.

  • Process and update PO records, verifying order confirmations and supplier invoices against the system to identify discrepancies.

  • Track sales records and prepare documentation for (and participate in) sales meetings.

Requirements
  • Professional certificate, GCE 'O' Level, NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent.

  • 2 years of working experience as a Sales Coordinator in a related field.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-motivated, adaptable to change, and able to prioritize tasks efficiently to meet commitments.
