Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is looking for a safety officer who will identify unsafe conditions on-site and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Qualifications

• Willingness to work rotating shifts and night shift.

Job Description & Requirements

• Identify any unsafe condition or unsafe act carried out on the work site.
• Recommend and assist the Occupier of the worksite to implement reasonable and practicable measures.
• Liaise with different departments on all safety and health matters.
• Conduct regular site inspections and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health Regulations and other legislative requirements.
• Enforce all WSH requirements and in-house rules and regulations.
• Assist in investigating and reporting accidents/ incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct training/ meeting/ briefing/ time-out to the workforce.
• Follow up on submission of SHE documents.
• Monitor the SHE performance in the work site.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Certificate in Advanced Certificate in WSH Level B and/or any relevant Safety Certificates.
• With at least 3 years of working experience in high-rise building projects
• Good interpersonal skills.
• This role may require rotating shifts.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work night shift
• 6 days work week
