A global automotive distributor in Singapore is seeking an Automotive Parts Coordinator to manage spare parts inquiries and ensure inventory efficiency within the workshop. The ideal candidate should hold a NITEC Certificate and possess 2 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry or logistics warehouse environment. Job Responsibilities
  • Liaise with workshop staff and assist on spare parts requirements and inquiries
  • Liaise with counterparts from other centres / central warehouse to trigger inter-company transfer to ensure parts are transferred without delay
  • Contact and inquiry with external vehicle parts providers for parts
  • Handle sales enquiries of vehicle parts via call or email
  • Inspect and receive vehicle parts in good conditions and correct quantity from suppliers with proper documentation
  • Monitor & update tracking board and inform sales personnel when air freight parts arrive
  • Issue of parts to the workshop technicians with proper documentation
  • Ensure and maintain proper documents on the accountability of all spares in the store
  • Order and replenishment of spare parts to ensure the smooth operation of the workshop
  • Ensure proper identification, storage, handling, preservation and packaging of all spares in the store. Monitor & return ageing parts.
  • Ensure good housekeeping and safety of store
  • Identify and resolve any store and spares problems
  • Verify the effective implementation of preventive and corrective actions on non-conformity
  • Market any product promotions create by aftersales department
  • Maintain a clean, orderly and safe working environment particularly own tools of work like desk area, stationary, telephone, printer and computer system
  • Monitor & update POV board and inform all SE when air freight parts arrive
Job Requirements
  • At least NITEC Certificate in Automotive or Logistics related discipline
  • Preferably someone who has 2 years of relevant work experience, managing vehicle parts preferably in automotive industry or logistic warehouse environment
  • Proficient in MS Office tools. Comfortable with learning new systems
  • Good interpersonal skill, organizational skills and inventory management skills
  • Someone who has customer-oriented mindset, takes initiative and comfortable with working in a warehouse environment
  • Able to work independently and also a team player
