Job description

The Retail Pharmacy Store Manager is responsible for the overall management and smooth operation of the pharmacy store, ensuring high standards of customer service, operational efficiency, compliance, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure store and dispensary operate efficiently and meet standards of key control indicators in areas of housekeeping, merchandising, stocks ordering and management, security, wastage and costs incurred
  • Monitor daily sales trend of the store and formulate action plans to counter competition and threats so as to safeguard sales growth ad contribution
  • Plan and lead team in executing promotional activities smoothly to maximize on the event to drive sales
  • Communicate management directions and decisions to team members to align them to work towards the same goal
  • Dispense drugs accurately based on prescriptions and ensure that there is compliance with governing laws, regulations and standards;
  • Maintain records required by governing regulations and guidelines
  • Provide counselling and other pharmacy-related services and professional pharmaceutical care to patients as required;
  • Serve customers with excellent customer service and ensure that team members provide the same level of service to customers so as to close sales
  • Develop team-members to be competent to perform their jobs
