Job description

Job Purpose

You will assist the Pharmacist in managing the retail operations which include customer service, inventory management, merchandising, housekeeping, cash handling and retail administration. You will provide supervision to the retail assistants, senior retail assistants, retail supervisor and promoters working in the retail pharmacy. You will assist the Pharmacist in the analysis of the performance of the retail pharmacy and work with the Pharmacist to achieve retail targets.

Job Responsibilities

Operational:

• Supervise the daily operations of the retail pharmacy
• Ensure proper handling of cash in the pharmacy
• Ensure that housekeeping standards are met
• Maintain store security
• Maintain equipment used in the pharmacy
• Supervise inventory management
• Ensure proper merchandising of products
• Maintain condition of stock

Others:

• Store Visits
• Staff Training and Development
• Coach and supervise team members
• Supervise the promoters to ensure that they adhere to the code of conduct
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer
• Involve in work place improvement projects/ activities as and when required
