Retail & eCommerce Executive
Job Summary
The Retail & eCommerce Executive leads the retail and e-Commerce team to achieve sales goals for climbing products. He/She strategies the sales plan from leads to sales conversion, coordinating efforts among team members to ensure sales cycle completion. He/She works closely with the Sales & Marketing department to conduct collaborations and promotions.
He/She is also responsible for principal management, recommending brands, product lines, spotting consumer trends in products related to company/ group businesses. He/She works closely with other departments to ensure order fulfilment.
Area
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Sales Management
- 1. Initiates and sees through institutional sales, including retail-related project enquiries from all sources/channels. As required, he/she will assist the Projects department to determine the scope of enquiry, and provide information required to draft quotations.
- 2. Maintain records of customers’ climbing equipment purchases and renewal
Principal Management
- 1. Identify and focus on top performing brands
- 2. Attends enquiries from all sources/ channels from institutional clients on Climb Asia Group of product and services available.
- 3. Establish self as the primary contact for institutional clients and works with other departments as required to serve clients’ needs. Occasionally, transferring leads to the relevant department/ group businesses upon client request.
- 4. Build relationship with institutional clients’ procurement team.
- 5. Perform client visits where necessary.
Sales Cycle
- 1. To strategise an annual sales plan with the General Manager, including but not limited to promotions, campaigns and outreach to new customers
- 2. To plan for and ensure relevant and healthy retail inventory, working within given budgets and agreed margins.
E-Commerce
- 1. Maintain the online stores, ensuring product listings are up-to-date and visually appealing.
- 2. Develop strategies to increase online sales and improve customer engagement.
Store Management
- 1. Oversee in-store visual merchandising and product placement to optimize customer experience.
- 2. Manage inventory levels, ensuring products are well-stocked and presented.
- 3. Manage staffing of retail team, including but not limited to interviews, scheduling and payroll
- 4. Sharing of and training retail team in required product knowledge for each to perform their required roles
Logistics and Warehousing
- 1. Coordinate and manage the supply chain, including all inbound and outbound shipments
- 2. Oversee warehousing organization for efficient inventory management and order fulfillment.
Other tasks
- 1. Supports the Director on various business administrative tasks relating to projects and climbing products when required.
