Job description
Human Resources (HR) Responsibilities
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding restaurant staff (chefs, servers, kitchen staff, supervisors).

  • Maintain employee records, contracts, attendance, and leave data.

  • Coordinate staff scheduling support and manpower planning with restaurant managers.

  • Assist in payroll preparation, salary processing, and benefits administration.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and health & safety regulations.

  • Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance documentation.

  • Support training programs, inductions, and staff development initiatives.

  • Monitor staff turnover and assist with retention strategies.

Administrative Responsibilities
  • Manage office administration, filing systems, and documentation.

  • Handle licenses, permits, renewals, and statutory records related to restaurant operations.

  • Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and government offices when required.

  • Prepare HR and administrative reports for management.

  • Support audits, inspections, and compliance checks.

  • Assist in policy drafting and implementation.

  • Maintain confidentiality of HR and business information at all times.

Job Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

Experience
  • 1–4 years of experience in HR and administration (restaurant or hospitality industry preferred).

  • Experience handling frontline staff recruitment is an advantage.
