Job description

This is a full-time restaurant assistant manager role at Ushidoki Wagyu Kaiseki, an acclaimed fine dining establishment located in the heart of downtown Tanjong Pagar. As the assistant manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the restaurant's operations and driving its continued success within the Hospitality & Tourism industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist restaurant manager in overseeing all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including front of house, back of house, and inventory management
  2. Provide exceptional customer service and a seamless dining experience for guests
  3. Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation
  4. Monitor and analyse restaurant performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

Requirements

  1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar assistant manager or management role within the fine dining or high-end hospitality industry
  2. Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including inventory management, staffing, and customer service
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
  4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail
