Job summary

A construction consultancy company in Singapore is seeking an experienced site supervisor for MRT and tunnel projects. You will assist the Resident Engineer in overseeing tunnel works and ensuring compliance with specifications and safety regulations. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in Singapore MRT projects, and be able to interpret engineering drawings. Strong coordination and reporting skills are essential for the role, which offers the opportunity to contribute to significant infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant site supervision experience in tunnel, underground, or MRT/railway projects.
• Experience in Singapore MRT/LTA projects preferred.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Job Description

• Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising tunnel and underground works, including bored tunnels, cut-and-cover tunnels, shafts, and related structures.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and work programmes.
• Ensure works comply with LTA requirements, Codes of Practice, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.
• Supervise contractors’ works involving TBM operations, excavation, temporary works, ground support, and instrumentation.
• Verify construction quality, workmanship, and materials.
• Maintain site records and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve site and technical issues.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant site supervision experience in tunnel, underground, or MRT / railway projects.
