As a Resident Physician at the Department of Infectious Diseases, you will be carrying out your clinical responsibilities at both National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) and Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) providing clinical care to outpatients and inpatients supervised by senior doctors. The wide range of interesting and varied work includes ID consults (blue letters) and reviews, patient care in the wards, outpatient consultation at Specialist Outpatient Clinic J, Travel Clinic, Screening Centre depending on interests and clinical service needs. Additional duties and responsibilities including medical education work, quality and research involvement can be tailored according to individual applicant preferences.

Requirements:

  • Active clinical practice;
  • Possess registrable medical degree with Singapore Medical Council;
  • Recognized postgraduate medical qualifications (eg, MRCP) preferred but not mandatory;
  • Attained a minimum of 3 years of local post-housemanship working experience OR 5 years of post-housemanship working experience at a reputable local/overseas hospital.
