You are part of the multidisciplinary team providing day-to-day patient care in the cardiothoracic surgical specialty. You will be involved in both outpatient and inpatient areas, assisting in invasive and non-invasive investigations and procedures. You will also assist in all aspects of pre-operative, operative and post-operative patient care in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery.


Requirements:
  1. Basic Medical Degree recognised by the Singapore Medical Council
  2. Relevant and recognised postgraduate qualification
  3. Passed the national licensing examination as required in the country where the basic medical degree was conferred (if applicable)
  4. Prior experience in an acute hospital setting is essential
  5. Strong interest and/or credentials in research would be an advantage
  6. Good oral and written communication skills
  7. Documented proof of:

(i) Measles (or Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and

(ii) Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination taken during preceding 10 years at prevailing point of reference as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act. Applicants without these vaccinations are welcome to apply if they undertake to complete the vaccination(s) before work commencement upon successful interview and are offered employment.
