Job description

This is a 5 Day Work Week including some weekends and public holidays!! Your ROLE as a full-time Resident Manager is to serve as our guests’ main point of contact and manage the entire operations team. Serving as our Hotel's ambassador, you will be instrumental in creating an enjoyable and memorable stay for our guests, and to show them the full MGH experience.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel;
  • Represent the Hotel Manager at all duty times or when the Hotel Manager is absent;
  • Provide support to both Front Office and Housekeeping operations daily;
  • Monitor and review daily arrivals/departure ensuring that hotel is promptly turned over for daily arrival guests;
  • Ensure that all hotel reports are thoroughly checked and vetted;
  • Monitor/Maintain record of all stocks in the hotel and timely process any order and reflect it in the Property Management Systems (PMS);
  • Monitor and maintain cost effective measures in the hotel, ensuring that cost effective measure do not dampen guest experience and service standards in the hotel;
  • Conduct training and coaching for all team members pertaining to new P&Ps and guidelines/coaching and counselling for non-performance of team members;
  • Attend to guest feedback, escalating any major issues to the Hotel Operations Manager to review for further actions;
  • Provide recommendation to Hotel Operations Manager for all team members during annual performance review;
  • Provide daily/weekly/monthly updates to Hotel Operations Manager;
  • Maintain the highest of service & product standards of the hotel;
  • Any other duties delegated by Hotel Operations Manager
Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Hospitality industry;
  • Independent and adaptable;
  • Confident, good grooming standards and tidy;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • Experience with property management systems such as CloudBeds or Opera is a plus;
  • Experience managing online travel agent websites such as Booking.com and Agoda work is an advantage
