We are looking for a research hero and scribe with the chops to produce exceptional content that translates to impactful visitor experiences. Are you a creative, intuitive and analytical thinker? Are you accustomed to producing clear, concise and compelling content that informs and engages different target audiences on various platforms?

As a researcher, you always clarify your objectives and are meticulous in your approach from start to finish. In every project, you excel at synthesising and drawing useable insights from research data.

Your ability to manage overlapping deadlines means that you never buckle under pressure. You possess a creative approach to problem-solving and a strong passion for storytelling and innovation. While you are comfortable working independently, collaborating with a dynamic team of creatives brings out the best in you.

What will you be doing?
  • Conduct research on a wide range of topics. Identify and tap a variety of sources including, but not limited to, books, academic publications and archival sources to obtain critical data or information including photographs, videos and audio. Assist in conducting focus groups and interviews when required.
  • Synthesise research materials and produce accurate and clear reports based on research findings and data collection.
  • Curate research materials and assist in developing concepts, storylines and narratives to facilitate content development.
  • Ensure that written content meets project objectives and is relevant to the target audience.
  • Edit and proofread to ensure written content is error-free and meets the required standards.
  • Generate research and content for in-house blogs, websites, marketing collaterals, and so on where required.
  • Stay abreast of writing trends to ensure that content for different mediums, including print publications, exhibitions, web and social platforms is relevant to the target audience.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements and insights related to the industry HOL is in. Able to apply this knowledge to innovate and improve content offerings.
What are we looking for?
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in History, Political Science, Sociology, Philosophy, Law, Journalism, Communications, or a related field with four to five years of related work experience.
  • Excellent research skills with the ability to gather and analyse information from a variety of reliable sources.
  • Strong storytelling, writing, editing, and proofreading skills with experience in writing for different platforms and audiences.
  • Interest in curatorial and interpretive work is an added advantage.
  • Creative and insatiably curious with wide-ranging interests in different disciplines and the latest technologies.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
