Job Scope
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to prolong the lifespan of our shipping containers
  • Coordinate and supervise the repair and refurbishment of damaged containers
  • Liaise with suppliers and service providers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage the ordering of replacement components
  • Oversee a team of technicians and ensure all maintenance work is completed to the highest standard
  • Analyse repair data and identify areas for process improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance or repair management role, preferably in the shipping or logistics industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of container construction and repair methods
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to diagnose and address complex issues
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians
  • Proficient in inventory management and procurement processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Thorough understanding of relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
