A staffing agency is seeking a Relief Student Care Teacher in Singapore. The role involves providing care and guidance to primary school students, ensuring their safety and well-being during various activities. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Education, Psychology, or Child Development, and a passion for working with children. The position requires previous experience in student care or enrichment teaching, along with strong communication and classroom management skills. This part-time role has working hours from 1 PM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Education, Psychology, or Child Development.
  • Prior experience in student care, enrichment teaching, or preschool is an advantage.
  • Passion for working with children and ability to manage groups of primary school students.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care, supervision, and guidance to primary school students before and after school hours.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students during daily routines and activities.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
  • Assist students with homework, spelling, and other academic-related activities.
  • Facilitate enrichment, recreational, and character-building programmes.
  • Supervise meal times, hygiene routines, and dismissal procedures.
  • Step in to conduct lessons or activities when regular staff are absent.
  • Support centre operations and perform ad-hoc duties assigned by the Centre Supervisor.

  • Working Hours:Mondays to Fridays (1PM - 4PM)
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide care, supervision, and guidance to primary school students before and after school hours.

  • Assist students with homework, spelling, and other academic-related activities.
