Job summary

A major financial services firm in Singapore seeks a seasoned Relationship Manager (AVP/VP) for driving its NBFI business. The candidate must possess strong client networks across various financial sectors, with over 10 years of FI sales and credit experience. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of NBFI clients, originating new business, and ensuring compliance with regulatory policies. The ideal candidate will have strong credit analysis skills and a proactive mindset, capable of working under KPI pressure.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years FI sales/credit experience; global markets sales experience a plus.
  • Strong capital markets product knowledge and awareness of cross-border markets.
  • Good to have existing NBFI client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of bank and NBFI clients in Singapore and the region.
  • Originate new business with an emphasis on NBFI sectors.
  • Pitch cash, trade, loans, treasury, and capital markets solutions with internal and offshore teams.
  • Support loans syndication/bilateral deal origination.
  • Prepare credit applications, financial analysis, and ongoing credit monitoring.
  • Ensure regulatory and internal policy compliance.
  • Prepare submissions for parent bank/regulatory reporting.
  • Oversee loan covenants, CP conditions, and client account activities.
  • Enhance operational processes and support improvement projects.
  • Review and comment on finance documents.
Requirements
  • Strong balance sheet/financial analysis capabilities to support Treasury and Accounting.
  • Knowledge of credit processes and loan accounting.
  • Strong credit analysis skills and established client network.
  • 10+ years FI sales/credit experience; global markets sales experience a plus.
  • Strong capital markets product knowledge and awareness of cross-border markets.
  • Excellent communication, proactive mindset, and ability to work under KPI pressure.
  • Good to have existing NBFI client relationships. Open to consider Corporate Banking RM.
