Symarom Asia Pte Ltdis a food manufacturing company. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Regulatory & Laboratory Technical Officer to support our compliance activities and daily laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO, HALAL, SFA etc.).
  • Prepare, review, and maintain regulatory documentation, licenses, permits, and submissions.
  • Assist with internal and external audits and support corrective actions.
  • Conduct routine laboratory testing, sample handling, and instrument operation/maintenance.
  • Maintain laboratory records, SOPs, and quality documentation.
  • Support implementation of safety, quality, and regulatory procedures within the lab.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and product development.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Regulatory Affairs, or related field.
  • Experience in laboratory work and basic analytical techniques is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., local regulatory authority, ISO, HALAL, SFA) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
  • Good communication, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
