Registered Principal Pharmacist needed for Pharmacy Operations / Planning Supervisor (West / Northeast) #HKN

Location: West / Northeast
Department: In-Patient / Intermediate Long-Term Care / Start-Up
Working Hours: Strictly 5.5 days (Alternate Sat); Office hours

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of medication orders, including verification, preparation and supply of medications
  • Monitor and manage discharge medication process to minimize delays and enhance patient satisfaction
  • Implement and review workflows to improve operational efficiency and reduce errors
  • Develop and manage staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage during all shifts
  • Monitor workload distribution and adjust staffing as needed
  • Mentor and supervise pharmacy staff to ensure performance and adherence to workflows
  • Coordinate operational training for new staff and ensure ongoing development of all pharmacists

  • Work closely with nursing teams to improve medication administration processes
  • Lead initiatives to improve medication safety
  • Address and resolve medication-related complaints or queries promptly
  • Operational and administrative responsibilities
  • Ensure sufficient stock level of medications in inpatient areas
  • Oversee the implementation and efficient use of inpatient pharmacy system such as automated dispensing cabinets (ADC)
  • Investigate medication-related incidents and implement corrective and preventive measures
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss challenges, share updates, and promote positive work cultures.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance patient’s experience, such as patient education
  • Regularly review patient’s feedback and address areas for improvement

Job Requirements:

  • Min Degree in Pharmacy with professional registration.
  • Fully registered with Singapore Pharmacy Council.
  • A team player with positive attitude and willingness to learn new skill sets (domains or tools).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating large volumes of information with precision and accuracy.
  • Passion for continuous learning and a self – directed learner.
  • Keen on Start-Up challenges
