KEY ACTIVITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide quotations to customers, aligned with their freight management needs and in line with (CS)SOP, Geodis and industry policies and procedures in order to ensure compliance and increase revenue.
- Support the review customer’s freight requests and selection of appropriate carrier
- Provide pricing proposals for spot and regular quotation requests and maintain related costs
- Support MBR/QBR data and presentation
- CRM super user – maintenance of team pipelines and activities, data quality
- Market Research, when necessary, on specific areas/verticals
- Support the budget and target exercise
- Other related sales admin task related to function.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATIONAL AND / OR TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATES
- Diploma/Degree level or above in Logistics/Supply Chain
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
- Prior experience in Freight Forwarding.
- Pricing/Operational experience a plus factor
- At least 2 year’s working experience preferably in the Freight Forwarding industry
NECESSARY TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
- Competent in Microsoft Excel
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Good product/industry knowledge
- Good inter-personal skills and customer-focused attitude
