The Associate Director role will lead Media, Partnerships, Loyalty, and B2B for a global hospitality brand, for APAC markets, to drive strategic planning, execution and optimisation of campaigns across digital and offline channels.

This role requires strong leadership, regional expertise, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and geographies. The Associate Director will ensure operational excellence, client satisfaction, and business impact for both the agency and client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership & Planning
  • Lead the Media, Partnerships, Loyalty and B2B Pillar for a global hospitality brand for the APAC market.
  • Drive integrated planning and activation across digital and offline channels.
  • Oversee regional campaign planning and execution across SEA and APAC.
  • Collaborate with Brand & Portfolio and Always‑On leads for synergy across pillars.
  • Team Management & Resource Allocation
  • Manage Managers and their respective teams (planners, local market teams, and offshore activation resources).
  • Ensure effective resource allocation, identify workflow gaps, and implement process improvements.
  • Mentor and develop team members to foster a high‑performance culture.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Act as the primary escalation point for campaign matters within the pillar.
  • Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with key client stakeholders.
  • Cross‑Regional Collaboration
  • Build partnership and collaboration with global teams across EMEA, LATAM and CALA regions. Drive progress on joint initiatives and workstreams.
  • Performance & Accountability
  • Own the success of the pillar, measured by client satisfaction, team output, campaign performance, and business impact.
  • Ensure synergy and cross‑learning between Brand, Portfolio and Luxury and Always‑On Performance teams.
  • Monitor KPIs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in media strategies and commercial partnerships.
  • Recommend and implement workflow enhancements across all pillars.
Qualifications
  • 6-8 years of experience in a media agency, preferably with prior experience working on major regional client accounts.
  • Proven experience in regional campaign management (SEA and APAC); China experience is a plus.
  • Experience in mentoring and managing a mid‑sized team.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
  • Expertise in media planning and buying (digital and offline), with strong knowledge of APAC media landscape and regional nuances.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive insights. Proficiency in media analytics a plus.
  • Ability to lead and inspire team, skilled in resource allocation and workflow optimisation. Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Excellent client‑facing communication skills, with the ability to manage cross‑functional and cross‑regional collaboration. Skilled at tailoring conversations to fit different client profiles.
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented and proactive. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, and culturally sensitive / adaptable across diverse markets.
