Job Scope
- Managing the scheduling, data collection and quality assurance of EEG, MEG, fNIRS and fMRI research projects.
- Collaborate with researchers and directors to ensure sound technical support for experimental setups and assisting with participant preparation.
- Responsible for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues and facilitating outreach programs in schools and hospitals to promote neuroimaging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Imaging/ radiography or equivalent.
- Minimum number of years of experience required for the role is 3 to 5 years.
- Due to the high-risk nature of high-field (3T) MRI environments, candidates must be MRI-trained and well-versed in MRI safety protocols.
- Able to perform MRI scans.
- Manage the scheduling and rescheduling of MRI, EEG, fNIRS, TMS and MEG bookings.
- Ensure efficient use of the equipment and timely adjustments to meet research needs.
- Oversee the collection and dissemination of MRI, EEG, fNIRS, fMRI, TMS and MEG data to the researchers.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data through quality assurance protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, data collection and equipment maintenance.
- Provide technical support for EEG, fNIRS, TMS and MEG experimental setups and participant preparation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with neuroimaging equipment.
- Conduct training sessions for new users on equipment use and safety.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Director to promote multimodal neuroimaging and engage with hospitals and schools for outreach programs.
- Contribute to updating the CoNiC website and reporting on equipment utilisation.
- Organise meetings with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks as required.
Good-to-haves
- Familiarity with functional neuroimaging programming tools such as E-Prime and Psychopy.
- Experience with image processing software for functional neuroimaging.
- Hands‑on experience in teaching activities involving EEG, fNIRS, TMS, tDCS and MEG equipment.
- Support neuroimaging data analysis and gain exposure to advanced analytical techniques across diverse research projects.
Additional Opportunities
- Training on specialised equipment, including MEG, will be provided.
