Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in the design and development of new connector systems and related components.
- Conduct feasibility studies, material selection, and prototyping.
- Use CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) for 3D modeling and mechanical simulations.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams (Sales, Quality, Production) to develop tailored solutions.
- Conduct testing and validation in accordance with aerospace, harsh environment, and other applicable standards (e.g., MIL-STD, IPC).
- Prepare detailed documentation including technical drawings, test reports, and engineering change notices.
- Stay current with industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies.
- Support the industrialization and manufacturing of new products.
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in product design and development, preferably in connectors, microelectronics, or aerospace components.
- Strong proficiency with SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of materials (plastics, metals) and manufacturing processes (injection molding, stamping, overmolding).
- Familiarity with testing and qualification standards (MIL-STD, IPC, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and hands-on prototyping ability.
- Strong communication skills in English; French is a plus.
