A leading firm in the Medical Device industry in Singapore is seeking an R&D Director to lead multidisciplinary teams in developing innovative medical device systems. This role requires a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 8 years' experience in R&D within a similar industry. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of design controls and excellent leadership skills. This position directly reports to the CEO and involves collaboration with various departments to ensure successful product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of R&D experience in similar industry with leadership of complex system development.
• Strong knowledge of design controls, regulatory requirements, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary R&D teams in developing innovative medical device systems.
• Define product architecture, technology roadmap, and research strategy.
• Oversee design controls, risk management, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Clinical, and Marketing for smooth product launch.
