Responsibilities include developing new recipes, conducting sensory tests, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Candidates must have a degree or diploma in a relevant field or relevant experience and be able to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends.

  • Create new recipes and refine taste profiles through experimentation.
  • Develop ideas from food preparation processes for marketing purposes.
  • Develop product improvements based on sensory testing and consumer data.
  • Establish product specifications and documentation.
  • Make recommendations in the design of new manufacturing processes.
  • Modify new product recipes and ingredient selection for compliance needs.
  • Manage and run panel sessions and sensory tests.
  • Refine recipe formulation for mass production.
  • Review ingredients to meet customer needs.
  • Improve quality of new food products and ensure compliance.
  • Suggest alternative ingredients for compliance needs.
  • Support sales team by preparing samples for customers.
  • Troubleshoot production processes for quality issues.
