Job summary

An established recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor. The role involves preparing tenders, managing subcontract payments, and assisting in contract documentation. Candidates should hold a recognized degree in Quantity Surveying or related fields, with a strong grasp of estimation methods and cost control principles. • Prepare tenders, carry out measurements, and prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) and quotations.
• Prepare and manage variation order claims, Extension of Time (EOT) claims, and payments to subcontractors and suppliers, including final accounts.
• Assist in preparing contract documents for Main Contracts and Subcontracts.
• Obtained quotations and do up evaluation for quotations
• Prepare the sub-contract/purchasing document for review & approval
• Cost management of projects.
• Prepare progress payment certificates for sub-contractors
• Attend meeting as and when required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Recognized Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building or equivalent (Construction Management, Civil Engineering).
• Strong understanding of construction estimating methods, cost control principles, and procurement processes.
• Basic knowledge of Singapore building regulations and contract forms will be added advantages.
