Job summary

A leading engineering and project services provider is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to handle contract administration and manage project claims. The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in high-end renovation or interior fit-out projects. Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD are essential. This role is based at project sites in the Central area of Singapore.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in high-end renovation or interior fit-out projects.

Responsibilities

• Handle Quantity Surveying and Contract Administration for projects.
• Conduct material and quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and budgeting.
• Source quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Independently manage project bidding and tender submissions.
• Administer project and contract documentation.
• Oversee material ordering and inventory management.
• Prepare and manage project progress claims, payment responses, and variation orders.
• Take full responsibility for sizable project claims and related processes.

Skills

Strong oral and written communication skills

Knowledge of M&E construction materials

Proficient in MS Office

Proficient in AutoCAD

Education

Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Works, or Engineering
