Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with at least 2 years of local experience. Responsibilities include project cost budgeting, tender preparation, and on-site monitoring. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of local Singapore Quantity Surveying (QS) experience.

• Experience in interior fit-out or main contracting preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for project cost budgeting, quantity take‑off, pricing, and preparation of tender documents
• Familiar with Singapore local regulations and procedures of BCA, MOM, HDB, URA, etc.
• Communicate and coordinate with clients, main contractors, and suppliers (must be bilingual in Chinese and English)
• Handle progress payment applications, variation orders (VO), and final account settlement
• Monitor on‑site construction progress to ensure cost control aligns with project schedule
• Assist the Project Manager in analyzing and optimizing project costs

Job Requirements

• Must have local Singapore Quantity Surveying (QS) experience (minimum 2 years)
• Familiar with local construction processes, rates, materials, and construction methods
• Proficient in AutoCAD, CostX, and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English
• Positive working attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and able to work independently
• Candidates with QS Diploma/Degree will be prioritized
• Experience in interior fit‑out or main contracting is preferred
