Job summary

A construction services company located in Singapore is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to handle tender documents, cost estimation, and project management. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, with 3-8 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

  • 3 – 8 years of relevant QS experience in construction or similar projects.

  • Negotiate with suppliers for competitive quotations.
  • Review contract terms and prepare tender documents.
  • Process monthly progress claims for clients.
  • Liaise with clients and project teams on contractual matters.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare BOQ, cost estimation, material take-off, and pricing breakdown.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors for quotations.
  • Prepare tender documents, submissions, clarifications, and attend tender interviews when required.
  • Review contract terms, variation orders, purchase orders, and subcontractor agreements.
  • Process and prepare monthly progress claims for clients and evaluate subcontractor/supplier claims.
  • Monitor material requisition (MERF) against approved orders to avoid cost overruns.
  • Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow projections, and support project cost control.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, and internal project teams on contractual and commercial matters.
  • Manage variation orders, final accounts, and maintain proper documentation.
  • Perform site visits and support site teams on QS-related issues.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
  • 3 – 8 years of relevant QS experience (Construction, ACMV, or M&E projects).
  • Experience in HDB /BTO / Residential / Commercial / Industrial / Data Centre projects is an advantage.
