Job description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong cost management skills, extensive construction knowledge, and practical experience with AutoCAD drawings.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities
  • Manage and monitor project costs to ensure completion within budget
  • Prepare tender documents and conduct tender evaluations
  • Liaise and negotiate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
  • Evaluate subcontractor claims, handle variations, and prepare final accounts
  • Prepare progress claims, project reports, and contract documentation
  • Monitor project progress and advise on cost control and contract matters
  • Assist in reviewing and producing drawings using AutoCAD when required
Requirements:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and AutoCAD software
  • Hands-on experience in reading, editing, and producing drawings using AutoCAD
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, costing methods, and contract administration
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
